Exclusively from IXRF
Systems, Inc.
The new fX SEM Tube custom x-ray source is exclusively designed for use on electron microscopes. The compact design, and slide mounting, allow very close coupling to the sample. The integrated high-voltage power supply operates up to a maximum power of 20-30 watts (40 kV and 0.1 mA depending on anode type). The close coupling provides XRF analytical results comparable to those from traditional higher-power x-ray tubes. The fX SEM Tube is designed so that it does not interfere with the normal operation of the electron microscope, including the use of e-beam EDS microanalysis on the same sample. No special cooling is required.
