Micro X-Ray Fluorescence for The SEM

   The "Integrated" or "iXRF" addition to your existing EDS system complements the components you already have. Exciting the sample with an X-ray source rather than a electron beam reduces the background by a factor of 10 to 100 times. The result is detectability of elements down to the low PPM range. With these incredible peak to background ratios, not only can trace elements be detected, but analysis becomes highly accurate by the increased counting statistics of XRF. Basically, turn your EDS system into a benchtop XRF analyzer for a fraction of the cost.
