Linescan Software Overview

Linescans use the powerful technology of the IXRF FastMap^TM to provide another industry-leading tool. Linescans can be quickly acquired and quantitated. FastLinescans, like FastMaps, store all spectral data along with their individual point locations, allowing for the creation of additional element linescans without re-acquisition. Linescans can be overlaid on top of the image and/or each other.

• One click acquisition of a linescan; simply label the peaks on the spectrum and click the linescan button on the toolbar
• FastLinescan technology stores all spectral data and their corresponding locations. This way, you can create additional Linescans in seconds for any element and any line series for that element
• Rapid and flexible Linescan acquisitions using point dwell times as short as 10 microseconds
• Maximum X-ray Linescan resolutions (per element) is 1024
• Simultaneous acquisitions of 31 X-ray Linescans along with the SEM image
• Live spectrum display during X-ray Linescan acquisitions
• Composite Linescans provide overlaying of Linescans on the SEM image
• Real-time quantitative analysis display at each Linescan pixel
• Export X-ray Linescan to ASCII
• Draw Linescans in any direction or angle for acquisition
