X-ray LineScans Overview

FastLinescans utilize the powerful technology of Iridium Ultra FastMaps to provide another industry-leading tool. Linescans can be quickly acquired and quantitated. FastLinescans, like FastMpas, store all spectral data along with their line locations, allowing for the creation of additional element linescans without reacquisition.

Iridium Ultra linescans may be accessed through the FastLinescans or Direct Acquire portions of the software. In either, linescans may be acquired horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Up to 31 elements may be simultaneously acquired at 1024 pixel resolution. The linescans may be overlaid on the image and saved or exported.

Spectral data from FastLinescans are automatically stored within Iridium Ultra using standard Microsoft Window file folders. These files can be exported as any one of 52+ file formats.

  • One click acquisition of a linescan; label the peaks on the spectrum and click the linescan button on the toolbar
  • FastLinescans technology stores all spectral data and their locations
  • Maximum linescan resolution in 1024
  • Simultaneous acquisition of 31 element linescans
  • Live spectrum display during linescan acquisition
  • Quantitative analysis view of linescan data
  • Export linescans to standard image files (i.e. TIFF, JPG, BMP)
