Accounts Representative

Job Description: 

The Accounts Representative is responsible for growing business.  They are a disciplined self-starter with strong self-management skills and unquestionable integrity. They are personable, confident, and comfortable in customer interactions.  The Accounts Representative will demonstrate strong drive with rapid response time, dogged follow-up, and the ability to prospect for new business pro-actively.  They will demonstrate exceptional, persuasive communication and organizational skills.  The Accounts Representative quickly grasps technical concepts and can work both independently and in a team environment.  They will effectively learn and utilize online CRM applications and social media resources to grow business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Disciplined use of CRM system and other reporting channels for proper business management
  • Immediately respond to inbound leads and conduct continuous follow-up to drive discovery meetings
  • Organize customer-facing meetings and drive next step action items for all parties
  • Build quotations as directed
  • Drive outbound prospecting activities
  • Conduct discovery discussions with prospects
  • Manage sales pipelines from lead to opportunity to close to meet sales objectives
  • Participate in virtual demonstrations
  • Investigate customer motivations for all closed sales opportunities (won or lost)


  • Associates degree or higher (preferably Bachelor’s in scientific or engineering field)
  • Previous work experience in a commercial environment (preferably sales experience)
  • Greater Austin area location
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills (Fluent English)
  • Knowledgeable with all MS Office applications
